Authentic Soviet army sheepskin bekesha winter coat.

Extremely rare sheepskin leather army bekesha coat from the late USSR. Dates to late 1980s or early 1990s. Coat is in immaculate condition. Colour is black (darker than it appears in the photos because they were taken outside in direct sunlight) with dark-brown to black fur on the inside and collar. Likely for a higher ranking officer.  Made to keep the wearer warm in the Russian winter and tough enough to be used for serious work, you may recognize it as the coat that "Alone" season-6 winner Jordan Jonas used during his time on the show, surviving 77 days alone in the Canadian Arctic. 

The coat is massive. I'm unsure of the exact size, but I'd estimate somewhere around 3XL-4XL. My guess is it was never issued because they couldn't find a big enough guy to wear it. Keep in mind it could be tailored down a size or two if you know a reputable leather tailor, and you'd want to leave room for layers underneath.
