Handmade by Washington State rod builder, fly tyer and fly fishing writer Skip Morris from Fisher or Lamiglas fiberglass blanks with spigot ferrules made by Skip and nickel silver butt cap and ring over cork, brown wraps over chrome guides and tip top, brown blank. Purchased from West Coast angling legend Jim Adams. Fast for fiberglass, and bends as a single blank because of the spigot ferrules, this rod handles a no. 6 or 7 line beautifully to 70 feet and packs in an 18-inch rod tube that will fit in a carry-on bag. $400, firm.
