Night Vision - AGM NVG-40 XD-4 Gen 2 Articulated Binocular Housing Photonis PVS Goggle Dual Tube

Selling my dual tube night vision unit. This is an AGM NVG-40 (sold in Canada by Alphaoptics under the designation NG40), a rugged and fully-featured dual tube housing. This one is populated with a pair of Gen 2 Photonis XX2040CX tubes. This is a designation of XD-4 aviation intensifier tubes, giving performance roughly on par with older US OMNI V specs. As well, the Chinese NVT-4 tubes commonly sold at retail around here were based on, and are very similar to, the Photonis XD-4. The tubes have some runtime on them as they are used/surplus, but they are fairly clean. The left tube has some very small dot blemishes, not noticeable under normal use, and the right one is unblemished.

Previous owner of the housing used his tubes for something else and sold it to me, and I had Cold Harbour Supply install the XD-4s and nitrogen purge the housing. I wasn't able to get the best photos from my phone, but if you're interested in seeing anything in particular I can provide more. I have around 50 hours of runtime on this unit myself, and I used it in an airsoft milsim game. Comes with everything pictured, so AO nanuk case, couple sets of sacrificial lenses, adapters for magnifiers, eyecups. One of the rubber daycaps was cut by previous owner to fit a clipon thermal, but it still works fine as a cover/daycap.
