M 79 Grenade launcher w 7" barrel USOCOM (U.S. Special Operations Command) "Pirate gun" non firing new by King Arms. This is beautifully made with excellent fit and finish, an attractive wooden stock,  very good quality metal, not crappy pot metal copies. Would go very well in a collection for someone who wants an M-79 in their collection but cannot own one. Found the impressive fit & finish truly surprising.

US SOCOM takes the original 14" barrel M-1979 from Vietnam 1960s and chops the barrel and stock and carries it on a lanyard from their belt for those "special moments", hence the nickname pirate gun. They paint many of theirs in desert camo as seen in Iraq and NE Syria and add a reflex sight which makes the still highly effective M-79 even more effective. The M-79 today is still more effective than many of its modern counterparts. This one will even fire airsoft rounds

mine is wood  stock with parkerized finish, however for reference I have included a picture of the camo painted US SOCOM "Pirate gun" with the Holo/Refelx sight whch is what they issue today
