Up for sale are genuine Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) surplus spent 25mm cartridge casings. Manufactured in 2002 by General Dynamics Canada (formerly SNC Technologies), these casings were fired from the M242 Bushmaster 25mm chain gun—the primary weapon system integrated into the Canadian military's LAV III and LAV 6.0 fleets.
Because these are completely spent/fired casings, they are entirely empty, safe, and legal to own as military memorabilia. They feature a unique olive-drab steel body with a solid extraction rim at the base, complete with factory-stamped military lot numbers. They make fantastic collector pieces, unique garage or desk displays, or excellent gifts for military history enthusiasts.
