This shell was manufactured in Sweden and entered service in 1932. It was used extensively on U.S. naval ships attempting to shoot down enemy aircraft like that of the Japanese kamikaze pilots. It fired a 2lb. projectile at 2900ft/sec., out to 23,490ft. It was fired from twin mark 1 guns on many U.S. ships throughout the war. It was loaded into these Bofors 40mm guns in 4 round stripper clips. These 3d printed shells are an exact replica and have been crafted to exact standards of the real thing and are full size reproductions. They are perfect for the military enthusiast or man cave or to put alongside your latest model with one of these impressive shells to show what it fired and how BIG it is. They stand an impressive 17 3/4 inches tall and look awesome. The price is firm, you can pick the one you like there are many color variations depending on what type of shell it is. The brass shell in the pictures is a .50BMG and it looks small in comparison!!! These look awesome and you won't be disappointed.
