Yellow-tipped .50 BMG is typically Dominican Republic (DR) surplus manufactured in the 1950s and 1960s. It is widely considered unsafe to fire due to severely degraded gunpowder that can cause catastrophic overpressure events and damage to your firearm.

 Would make great display ammunition but fire at your own risk.
