Rothco Vietnam Mac-SOG Combat Knfe

For sale: Rothco Vietnam Mac-SOG Combat knife. Although we know that this design has not seen Vietnam war, that’s how the manufacturer decided to name this model. 
Yes, it is a copy of SOG Government Recon knife. Proportions are exactly the same

• 6 1/4” blade
• 1050 Carbon steel
• Grip-Tite handle material (feels harder  than rubber, but with very positive grip)
• Handmade custom leather sheath. Made by leather craftsman in Muskoka, Ontario

Blade is really nice with an even, precise, hollow grind. Blade and the pommel are factory finished by gun blueing. 
The knife never cut anything. Very sharp 1050 carbon steel edge. Knife feels great in hand. Long handle allows for multiple gripping options. 
The only marking is on the guard (Taiwan)

The thick leather sheath has been custom made and it fits the knife perfectly. 
The knife is a copy of SOG Government Recon (the rare, expensive, blued steel one), which would probably cost you around 600-700 $. With this Rothco knife, you will get well enough made knife that will serve you for a fraction of the cost.
