J. Marttiini Antler Sheath 1987 Limited Production Knife

J. Marttiini fancy Puukko made is 1987. 

These days it's difficult to find such long straight antler, so this model is no longer made. 

A very handsome knife with a 6" forged stainless steel blade. 

The antler and curly birch handle sports a hollow carved top which contains a piece of antler that serves as a rattle. When shaken this will deter the evil spirits. 

The antler on the sheath is carved so that the blade shows through. 

In Finland this would be a gift for a much respected person.
