18" Colombian Military Surplus Tapanga "Crocodile head" Machete

Howdy Gunpost. This is a brand new South American origin machete. I've seen these called Colombian military surplus. I'm not entirely sure of the origin exactly, but that's what they're commonly referred to as.
The machete is made out of a very tough stainless steel. It has some good flex to it, but it's still a fairly thick and firm blade. These just come with a rough pre-grind and don't have a sharp edge on them. So a quick grind with an angle grinder or your bench grinder or even a file is necessary to get these things cutting.
This particular Tapanga style machete has a 18-in blade is 23 and 1/2 in overall and has a 5 and 1/2 in handle. The grip material act is a solid hard plastic and is riveted on to the blade.
The weighted head on the blade definitely assists in chopping and I can see this being useful for clearing brush or being a nice bushwhacking and hiking machete.
The machete is located in Southwest Calgary for pickup, or I'm more than happy to ship it to you Nationwide on your dime. And if you live in Alberta, I travel around the province of fair bit so I may be able to deliver for free if you're along the way on my travels.
