Vintage French Douk-Douk Folding Knife – Carbon Steel

Original vintage Douk-Douk folding knife, factory manufactured in France by M.C. Cognet.
Mid-20th century production (circa 1950s–1970s). Full-size standard pattern with carbon-steel blade, original etched design, clip-point profile, plain edge, and blackened/blued steel handle. Traditional slipjoint / friction construction (no lock by design). Blades from this era were typically produced in high-carbon steel (commonly XC75 or similar), with steel handles, and hand-assembled and finished in Thiers, France.

Approx. 20 cm open / 11 cm closed. Blade shows honest age patina and light peppering; etch remains visible; handle engraving intact. Opens and closes smoothly. Original, unpolished, just lightly oiled to stabilize the steel. User-grade vintage example with collector interest.
