Up for sale is an extremely rare Japan 359 fixed blade knife, handmade by the legendary master craftsman Ichiro (Hattori) and imported by Valor. This specific piece is serial number 0426. 

Finding a 359 in the North American market right now is incredibly difficult, making this a prime addition for serious vintage Japanese knife collectors.

Knife Condition: Overall: Decent, very good well-preserved vintage condition.

Blade: Polished finish with strong beautiful etching. It shows clear signs of light past sharpening, but nothing excessive. There is one possible, very minor deformation along the cutting edge, but it is nothing out of the ordinary for a knife of this era. Just want to be picky and honest.

Handle: Very good quality wood with a solid, secure fit.

Sheath Condition: Includes the original, premium-quality Japanese leather sheath. Features a unique, riveted Japanese coin on the front face (not an original feature that i know of)

Note on modification: A previous owner poked extra sewing holes into the back of the belt loop. This appears to be purely cosmetic; it does not impact the structural integrity, leather strength, or overall value of the sheath.
