[Black Arkansas (Surgical Ultra-Fine Grade): Rated 1200+ grit on traditional U.S. scales, which often performs comparably to a 4,000 to 8,000+ grit synthetic water stone or a 7-micron finish due to its ultra-dense crystalline structure. It is the hardest grade, used for final polishing and achieving a razor-sharp, mirror-like edge."
