WWII Japanese Late War Type 98 gunto sword

Selling a WWII Japanese Late War Type 98 gunto blade with leather scabbard. I got this blade from a group member during a trade recently.

According to the length it might be a Tojinin Gunto （ shortened  gunto for aircraft / tank crew ） Note the end part of the scarbbard was once broke and missing underneath the leather wrap and was already been repaired so it does not poke your feet / floor. 

According to my knowledge it seems to be a machine blade with no signature of the maker. No obvious damage on blade only a few nicks from usage.
