Custom made hand forged Viking sword made by Murilo Ferreira.
Petersen type R hilt with hand engraved Scandinavian knot work based off an 10th century find currently housed at the Viking Museum Haithabu in Busdorf Germany. Blade is an Oakeshott type 10 Geibig variant 4 typology.
Blade is 28" long made of forged 5160 high carbon spring steel. full- through tang. grip is bone. Guard and pommel are bronze. pommel is historically correct 2 piece construction with decorative twisted wire accents.
scabbard is wood lined, leather wrapped with belt and custom chape, belt fittings, and bridge accent.
