This can be useful for someone that wants to cut it down to coach gun length, and have a second short barrel set. Alternatively, you can try finish threading it for removable chokes.

Otherwise, bore and chamber are in decent shape - shiny and thoroughly cleaned, with some light pitting in the barrels close to the breech.
