Savage 1899 Marbles tang sight

Early Marbles tang sight for a Savage 1899. Spring loaded and threaded for aperture discs. I don’t have a disc.  
Stamped “S” which Im told is the first generation.  Sharp edges show very small amount of wear. Mechanically tight tolerances, no slop. 97% condition.  $280
