M98 magazine conversion kit “Price Drop”

I have a model 98 Mauser, magazine conversion kit for sale. Fits 308 nicely. Note! This has the receiver screws at 7.6 inches apart or 195 mm. 
I bought this hoping it would fit on mine but it does not. 
there are some dremel marks on the inside of the trigger area from the previous owner which allowed larger triggers to fit. Unseen when attached.

I believe this was manufactured by Pacific Tool and Gauge.
