Sako AV Detachable Box Magazine Conversion Kits

I have a pair of conversion kits that replace the hinged floor plate of Sako AV actions with a 3rd box single stack box magazine:

• one "Standard Cal." for one-piece trigger guards
• one "Magnum Cal." for two-piece trigger guards

From my research, the two-piece guard begins with serial #640,001, but please confirm with your action.

The only difference between the one-piece and the two-piece trigger guards is the height of the nose on the plastic base place.  In a one-piece trigger guard, the two-piece magazine fits flush, but the nose can be pushed down under spring pressure.  I believe a shim or 3D printed spacer would allow the two-piece magazine to work in a one-piece trigger guard.

The baseplates are easily transferred between magazine bodies, so you can also have a "Standard Cal." with two-piece base plate or a "Magnum Cal." with one-piece base plate.

No permanent modifications are required: simply remove the floor plate pin and floor plate, and insert magazine.  The floor plate release button serves as the magazine release.

These magazines are in excellent condition, feed smoothly, and add another level of versatility to a hunting rifle.
