Butt Plate 1:  marked with a J most commonly indicates it was manufactured or inspected at the Jabalpur Arsenal in India.

Butt Plate 2:. The diamond with an "E" inside stamped on a Lee Enfield brass butt plate is a primary military inspector stamp from the Royal Small Arms Factory (RSAF) Enfield in the United Kingdom.

Butt Plate 3:  marked with a J most commonly indicates it was manufactured or inspected at the Jabalpur Arsenal in India.

These Butt Plates are in great shape for their age, but there are some scratches and dings as to be expected from previous use.
