Also have a griffin Armament Hammer comp 556 with the beautiful hard to find QD blast shield. The blast shield was professionally modified (little trimming from the unlocking hook) to be able to be sleeved inside the handguard. If you want to use it as god intended it works perfectly the way it is suppose to .
