Chinese Type 56 SKS Sling (1960s)

Marking is very clear.

Yellow-ish green canvas with uncoated metal fittings and faux leather straps in excellent condition.

No manufacturer code or year.

The story I know of is that the Great Chinese Famine (1959-1961) caused significant supply shortages that slings needed to be simplified around the early to mid 60s. This sling is considered a rather rare variant.
