Original Winchester Model 1897 Buttstock With Widow's Peak Checkered Buttplate and Round Knob Pistol Grip

Beautiful walnut buttstock and stamped steel buttplate in excellent condition.  Heavily varnished at some point but you can see the beauty through it-I am loath to remove it in case someone wants it on there, easily done. This stock is OLD!  I was told the round knob pistol grip was last made in 1902...
