Ultralight MPI Thumbhole Stock for Rem Model 7

I have an ultralight MPI Ambidextrous Thumbhole stock that has been modified by Rick Steinhour at Extreme Rifle Works in the US. These stocks are built for ultralight backpacking rifles. It is inletted for a Remington model 7 with factory hinged floor plate.  My Model 7 action has some metal removed from the sides and a thicker recoil lug.  So the bedding will have to be adjusted a little.

This stock with foam recoil pad weighs 17oz.

It’s very stable and my rifle has always shot great with this stock.

Paint and foam recoil pad are a little worn from use, but it’s easy and cheap to glue on a new pad and repaint once in a while.
