Remington 1858 new model army

Bought this at auction a couple months back but I have recently found something to upgrade now.

Condition - Fine, About 50% blue remaining, action is excellent

Serial # 75xxx which puts it around the American civil war period. Barrel is 76xxx which was most likely done in the factory because of a mistake.  Comes with the coveted RCMP Antique letter specific to this firearm as well.

Bore shows scattered light pitting with sharp rifling and some shine 

Remington New model Army Revolvers were very high tech for their time. Known for accuracy and ruggedness you can't go wrong. If you want a piece of history you can take out and shoot targets accurately at 25 yd's this might be for you. This gun will last many lifetimes if you don't abuse it and clean it after every use.
