This is an Antique, fully functional Hollywood .41 Colt Single Action Army revolver from the arsenal of Stembridge Gun Rentals - America's foremost prop gun company from 1920-2007. It is stamped with the Stembridge 'S', from the company that supplied film guns for use by Western action stars like John Wayne & Clint Eastwood. This revolver was very possibly featured in your favourite Western films! Made by Colt in 1883, this gun would have had at least 37 years of use before acquisition by Stembridge for theatrical purposes - if only this thing could talk. To a collector, this revolver's foremost value is in its history and usage, but the fact that the mechanics are still crisp and fully operable is a huge plus. I would love to see this in the hands of an owner that will see the historical, collectible, and aesthetic value of preserving this history. Please, feel free to call or message 4033610277 to discuss further.

Mechanically excellent with all 4 distinct Colt clicks through the 5 hammer positions and a tight lockup. The 4 3/4" barrel appears original with a 0.410" bore, which is true to the original pre-1890s .41 colt chambering with heeled rounds (Colt later decreased their diameter to .386" making hollow base rounds necessary in original barrels to ensure the lead flared out to catch the rifling). Comes with original cylinder that seems to be resized -  fits .44 Russian brass while .41 Colt falls through, and my assumption is that it was used with .41 SPL or .41 MAG rounds (loaded with black powder of course), both of which would fit in the chambers and have rounds that are completely true to the .410" bore. If wanting to fire, .41 SPL or MAG seems the way to go. I have factory original .41 Colt and .41 SPL cylinders for purchase if wanted.

This revolver has smooth faux-ivory grips, and can come with a pair of stag grips also for $150 if wanted. It has an old (Stembridge era) nickeled finish which is 90% present with some flaking on high points. Serials match 93XXX, Stembridge "S" mark on frame. Screw heads are generally strong with minimal marring. The rifling is still present and defined throughout the barrel but has general wear that is typical of an Antique revolver that has seen use for over 140 years.

Comes with FRT entry. Can include leather guns belt ($200) & holster ($75) if wanted.
