price OBO This hand-engraved Belgian "EUREKA" Bulldog is a cut above the standard production piece. Manufactured in Belgium prior to 1893 confirmed by the Liège ELG oval proof this compact SA/DA revolver is chambered in .44 Webley CF. The British Bulldog pattern became the defining concealed-carry revolver of the Victorian era - stowable, powerful, reliable. This example would have been a top shelf model, with intricately hand engraved patterns and beautiful rich ivory grips. You can shoot slightly modified .44 Russian factory cowboy loads available from rustywood.ca  - a light filing at the case mouth crimp to reduce diameter is needed for reliable fit or you can reload from shortened .44 Russian, .44 Mag, or .44 Spl brass. Pre-1898 Antique: no PAL or registration required.

Mechanics are fully sound. SA/DA operation is smooth with a strong hammer and clean trigger pull. Cylinder indexes reliably with tight, consistent lockup. The 2.5" barrel shows sharp, well-defined rifling down its full length. All ejection and loading gate functions perform as intended.

Visually, a showstopper. About 70% original nickel remains on a clean, unblemished surface - honest age, no pitting. Elaborate hand engraving covers the frame, barrel, cylinder, and trigger guard: fine Liège-school scrollwork of genuine quality. Ivory grips are clean and intact, bearing the hand-scratched initials "JHP" - an evocative mark from a past owner who clearly valued this piece. Light marring on a few screw heads is the only cosmetic note.
