Don't let the look of the grips deceive you, this revolver's action is in pristine condition with very smooth operation in both single and double action. It shoots .32 rimfire, which can be bought online and you can get reloading kits also. It is rare to find a well functioning rimfire revolver that's not spur trigger, and the folding trigger is a great compromise to make it compact but reliable.
The bore is clean, and all surfaces are in very strong shape with still evident original blueing in the low spots. The rifling is strong and there is overall very little wear considering it was made pre-1893 (proven by the Belgian Liege "ELG" proof mark) and has spent at least 122 years on this planet. The most significant evidence of wear are the clearly home job replacement grips which could be easily improved upon with a sander/files, a little time, and some wood blanks.
Overall a great reliable budget revolver in a world where many of the cheapos have poor actions.
