This example is a .38 rim fire short version in very fine condition. The nickel finish is 80% intact, with a very small amount of salt and pepper staining on the cylinder and the side of the frame. The black hard rubber grips are excellent and no visible wear. The action is accurate and the cylinder idexes correctly, and locks up as it should. The bore of the 2 1/2 inch barrel is very good and bright, with strong rifling and very minor spots and ripples. SN 20168, rated very fine overall.
