Antique status chambered in .476 enfeild
Serial number A712 confirmed as one of the first shipment of 40 revolvers issued to the NWMP here in Canada. Designed to drop out spent casings while keeping loaded ones in the cylinder. .476 Enfeild was designed to compete side by side with 45colt.
Lockup is solid, bore is clean, single and double action both work flawlessly.
These don’t come along often and rarely in this condition. There is some exterior corrosion, but nothing that affects function.
