Very sought after and seldom seen for sale in Canada, Allen and Wheelock Center Hammer Army .44cal Revolver. Only approximately 700 were produced. Appears to be in very good condition compared to the limited ones I’ve seen for sale. Been in my collection for many years, but changing interests.
Very hard to find piece for a serious military or civil war collector. It has two soldiers names stamped/carved into the grips. Mechanics all seem to function properly. I also have 3 photo copied letters from 1861, 1863 and 1865 that the soldier wrote home to family from a museum library archive.
