This is a reproduction Scottish Highland Pistol - Murdoch Pistol, all steel construction with working lock and trigger, ram rod and hidden vent pick in the butt, .52 cal, smoothbore. 

This pistol was used by Highland Regiments during the 18th century. Many a Scott carried this in battle, The French and Indian War,  American Revolution and War of 1812 to name a few!

The lock is made with strong durable springs and has a case-hardened frizzen (hammer) that throws good sparks. 

The vent is not drilled, no licence required of any kind.
