Fagnus & Clement "New-Design Bull-Dog", The firm of Fagnus & Clement of Liege, Belgium was in business from 1879 to 1883, a short-lived partnership between Alexandre Fagnus and Charles Clement. Both of these makers were active both before, as well as after the partnership. During their time working together, F&C produced a variety of bulldog-type revolvers based on the Webley design.
This is the first "New Design" It is in very good condition, with 99% of the nickel plating intact. It is nicely engraved and has beautiful pearl grips. The action is accurate and strong, and the cylinder indexes and locks properly. The bore of the 2 1/2 inch barrel is very good and bright. The pearl grips are very fine without cracks . SN 6, very fine overall.
