A Civil War era Remington-Rider Pocket Model Double Action Revolver, made circa 1860-1863. This revolver is a 5-shot, chambered in .31 percussion. The first ones produced in 1860 were black powder and had a “mushroom” cylinder for the percussion caps (such as this example).

The serial numbers are all matching 1210, including the grips which are in excellent condition.

The revolver cycles well and holds both half and full cock easily. The double action functions well and over all it is in great condition for its age with all original parts and screws.

The barrel is still blued and has a nice crisp patent stamp visible.  Rifling is somewhat pitted, however still visible.
