Colt 1855 Root Side Hammer revolver conversion in 28rf

Here is a very interesting antique revolver made by Colt. Model 1851 Root side hammer. It has been converted into .28 rimfire at some point of it’s life. Serial number matching. An “E.W.S” on the frame and cylinder. Missing hammer screw but hammer looks pretty tight attached. Cylinder is a bit loose. Finish turns into grey patina. No rust/pitting on metal. Grip chips at the tip. Antique status, need age confirmation when delivery. Asking $1250, shipping on buyer if needed.
