I have this uncommon 4 screw version Colt 1860 Army model built in 1862. It’s in nice condition without rust or heavy pitting although metal finish is gone. Serial numbers matching except the wedge. It is very interesting that the number on the wedge is almost the exact reverse of the SN of the gun. The cylinder scene is faded and left about 20% visible. Wood grip has no major damage just seems shrunk and worn. There’s still trace of case hardening on the hammer. Action functions as it should, index, timing and lockup pretty well. Cylinder nipples in great condition, no damage at all. Bore is good for the age, rifling still sharp. See Flicker album for all details. Antique status, no PAL required. Asking $3100, shipping extra.
