PM ME YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS FOR HI RES PICS

Includes shipping, includes 5x of reloadable 38RF brass with bullets pressed in.

Chambered in 38RF which can still be shot and loaded for today! I have one that is not quite as nice that I shoot regularly. Will share load data with the purchaser if requested. I have fired this one with blanks only, to verify function.

No PAL is required to purchase and own this awesome history piece. Will come with the FRT report showing its status.

I would estimate the nickel to be around 97% intact. Most of the ones you'll find on gunpost are dull in finish and/or pitted/flaked. If you are a serious purchaser I will send you high-res video/photos as requested. Usually these have a nickel hammer too, but some of them were made with blued hammers. The even the underside of the hammer appears blued not nickeled, so I believe this was one of the rarer blued hammer models.

Mechanically it is crisp. Good lockup. Good timing. Half cock functional. Bore has minor black powder spots but rifling is sharp and bright. Serial numbers matching. Markings on the top of the barrel are sharp.

This example has the best nickel I have seen on a No. 4 in person. Literally no flaking at all on the back strap which is often where they flake badly. It’s not perfect but for being about 150 years old it’s pretty impressive.
