Selling this 1884 Enfield Mk II .476 revolver, serial number is in Klancher's book of Mounted Police issue weapons. The grip is not stamped with the NWMP stamp, but not all of the second batch were stamped when issued. The grip is correctly proofed on the inside under the buttcap. Appropriately stamped with "Sold out of service" double arrow.
This revolver is in excellent condition--most of these (especially the NWMP ones) are beat to crap and back, but this specimen is very crisp and tight, with excellent hammer strength, lockup, and trigger, barrel with very good rifling. The only issue is a somewhat weak action catch spring, which would be an easy fix. This is an antique, no PAL required, very collectible and very shootable with black powder loads. This can use .455 brass
