Verv nice, high condition Iver Johnson American Bulldog in the rare, seldom seen 38 Rimfire caliber. These American Bulldogs were often favored over larger centerfire revolvers as they were very compact and much more practical for concealed carry back in the day. 2.5" barrel, 5 shot. This is a true time capsule piece and revolvers in this condition rarely pop up. The original nickel is in excellent condition with only light wear. Original dogs head emblem grips are in great shape with no cracks. Action functions excellent in single and double action. Half and full cock work excellent. Timing and lockup are great. Bore rates very good, the markings seen are factory milling marks. Cylinder walls show very nice. Included is 5 new reloadable 38RF brass and 10 lead.
