Belgian antique Revolver octagonal-barrel pinfire revolver, Liège proofed. Ornated, not in working condition

I inherited this from my great grandfather who came from Poland but the markings on the revolver suggest it's actually Belgian from the late 1800s. I can't make out the makers name. 
It's very ornate. 

I have been told it won't fire as I think they said it's missing the spring/pin. I do not know the type of ammo it uses or calibre.

I was told it was worth about $900 USD, I'm selling it for $800 Canadian.
