Cased Adams MK 2 Revolver With Great Accessories

Adams Patent MK 2 Revolver in 450 Adams Caliber, 455 Webley fits well, 6" barrel, 6 shot. The Mk II saw extensive use by British military forces and civilians, gaining popularity and serving on both sides during the Indian Mutiny and other colonial wars. This great historical revolver is accompanied by what appears to be it's original lockable wooden box and yes the keyed lock still works! The action on this piece functions well in single and double action. Timing and lockup are good, about 2mm of common movement in lockup. Bore and cylinder walls rate good with some common wear. Original one piece checkered grip shows well, lanyard ring is removed. Exterior of the revolver has very ornate original engraving, the exterior shows scattered light pitting. Barrel address is present but worn. The loading gate spring is not present which allows the loading gate to move if tipped etc. The wooden storage box has a nice paper insert as well as a portable Lee 455 reloading kit and functional key to the box. The box has some repaired cracks on the top. A very desirable revolver/accessory package! Antique status in Canada, no PAL required to purchase or own.
