Colt 1873 Single Action Army, Antique Status

Colt Model 1873 Single Action Army, the gun that needs no introduction as it's often identified as the gun that won the west. This example is manufactured in 1879 and has the most desirable 4.75" barrel length. Chambered in the antique eligible 41 Long Colt Caliber, 6 shot. Action was recently went over by a professional gunsmith with new bolt and lighter mainspring installed for better function. Serial numbers match on frame, trigger guard and back strap. All 4 hammer clicks are present. Action functions well. Timing and lockup are great, lockup is very solid and better than usually seen. Bore and cylinder walls show common wear. Exterior finish is a non original blueing, some markings are lighter due to refinishing, small area of pre refinish pitting near 41 Colt logo on barrel side.
