Colt New Model Army Model 1892 in 41 Long Colt Caliber. 6" barrel, 6 shot. Serial number 77XXX dates it to 1897 production, Serial number 91200 is the cutoff for antique status making this one of the later ones to still be antique. These Colt 1892s are one of the most modern looking antique classed revolvers available. They have modern asethitics and utilize a swing out cylinder for quick loading/unloading. The 1892 was a great upgrade over the previous 1889 model as the 92 had added cylinder stop notches which prevented the cylinder from freely turning while being carried etc. The action on this piece functions excellent in single and double action. Timing and lockup are great. Barrel is a newer/upgraded 1905 patent 41 barrel, bore rates good-very good with only minor wear. Grips are in good shape, showing only expected wear. Accompanying the revolver is a 1950's era Brauer Bros left hand leather holster that still has lots of life as well as 36 new 41 starline brass and 36 lead.
