French 1822 Officer's Pistol in 67 Percussion. These pistols were originally flintlock, and with the introduction of the percussion cap system most were converted to the percussion system. Barrel is a bit under 8". Very substantial piece of hand iron. Half and full cock work well. Trigger return spring seems to not reset, so you need to manually push trigger forward each time. Ramrod is intact. Nipple has light nick but functional. Wood/metal has expected dents/dings for an aprox 200 year old piece. Handle wood has small repair. Antique Status in Canada, no PAL required to purchase or own. Will include an RCMP FRT printout showing antique status in Canada. $895 includes Free Shipping, insurance extra. If you have any questions or need more pictures or video please feel free to ask.
