French 1892 Lebel, 8mm, Antique Status

French Model 1892 Lebel Service Revolver in 8mm lebel. 4.5" barrel, 6 shot. Manufactured in 1896. These 1892's are extremely well built guns and one of the most reliable antique classed revolvers available! The 1892s also had a long period of usage from 1892 all the way up to the 1970's seeing use in the Vietnam war as surplus arms by the vietcong. The action on this piece functions excellent in single and double action. Timing and lockup are great, lockup is rock solid with zero play. The bore and cylinder chambers rate good-very good with only minor wear. Original grips are in great shape, lanyard ring is intact. Exterior shows areas of light surface rust, likely from storage and would clean up. Trigger, hammer and loading gate retain much of the original straw yellow finish. Fiocchi manufacturers modern 8mm ammo and it's available in Canada. Antique status in Canada, no PAL required to purchase or own.
