Very rare, seldom seen double action only German 1883 Reichsrevolver. Manufactured by VCS CGH Arms Consortium in Suhl Germany, 4.5" barrel, 6 shot, chambered in 11mm German Ordnance which is equivalent to the more common 44 Russian. 44 Russian ammo and reloading components is much more available and is what most use in the Reichsrevolvers. The action on this revolver functions excellent with great timing and lock up. The exterior original high gloss blued finish retains a fair bit of its original finish. The bore and cylinder walls rate good, cylinder walls are very clean, bore has a noticeable spot of pitting about halfway down. This would have been a commercial example as it doesn't have military unit markings on the backstrap, as well it has the commercial lovely checkered grips. The grips are in great shape, lanyard ring is intact. All serial numbers match. If you need brass, lead or dies please inquire. Definitely a great, hard to find double action Reichsrevolver example! Antique status in Canada, no PAL required to purchase or own. Will include an RCMP FRT printout showing antique status in Canada. $3395 includes Free Shipping.
