Italian 1889 Service Revolver, Very Nice Action

Italian 1889 Bodeo Service Revolver, manufactured by R Fab D'ARMI Brescia in 1890, 4.5" barrel, 6 shot. Chambered from factory in 10.4mm Italian Ordnance, many of these bodeos had their cylinders lightly machined to accept 44 Russian brass for ease of reloading as 10.4 is obsolete, this revolver accepts 44 Russian brass. The action functions excellent in single and double action. Timing is good and lockup is rock solid with no play. The exterior finish shows areas with scratches etc. The original grips show expected wear, lanyard ring is intact. These 1889's utilize a safe hammer rebounding system to avoid accidental discharge. The trigger upward holding notch holds it well and the trigger releases properly upon hammer pull. Antique status in Canada, no PAL required to purchase or own.
