Mauser Conehammer C96, Very Desirable Antique Example

Definitely the highest prized/sought after antique status handgun in Canada, the C96 Mauser Conehammer, and it's semi auto! Limited amounts of these early C96's are allowed and accepted as antique status in Canada with no PAL required and this is one of the few. This pistol has the proper RCMP paperwork stating this pistol as antique status, no PAL required and will accompany it. The Mauser C96 was one of the first semi auto handguns available at the turn of the century and was produced up into the 1930s and had a colorful history. Chambered in 7.63 Mauser, 5.5" barrel, 10 shot Internal magazine. This example is in great shape! All serial numbers match on all parts. Internal components are in great shape. Exterior retains much of its original blued finish, there is some loss on barrel and light on other areas, small scratch on bottom of mag well and barrel. Overall exterior shows quite nice and doesnt have any mentionable pitting as is seen on many early C96's. The original grips show common handling dings, the lanyard ring is intact. Action is smooth and functions well. Bore shows common age related wear, nothing concerning. Under barrel is NP nitro proof mark and 12 tons. The shoulder stock is a nice quality modern production piece.
