Remington Model 1867 Navy Rolling Block pistol in 50 Rem Centerfire. 7" barrel. Most reload for these pistols using 50-70 trimmed brass. These were US military issue pistols, the military preferred single shots to motivate the soldiers to conserve ammunition, the rolling block design was reasonably fast for reloading. Remington factory markings on left side are light due to wear/pitting. IWDW markings on top of barrel, P over FCW on right side for Frank C Warmer who inspected all the rolling blocks. There is scattered pitting on frame. Bore shows quite well with some common frosting. Half and full cock work well, the hammer does go into half cock quite easily. Butt of grip has a repaired crack. This would have been quite the big bore pistol back in the day being a 50 cal! Definitely a unique sidearm of the American military! Antique status in Canada, no PAL required to purchase or own. Will include an RCMP FRT printout showing antique status in Canada. $1775 includes Free Shipping. If you have any questions or need more pictures or video please feel free to ask.
