Tranters Patent 1868 Model in 450 caliber, 455 Webley fits in excellent, 4" barrel, 6 shot. These Tranter, British produced revolvers were highly regarded, robust revolvers. This example functions well in single and double action. Timing and lockup are good, lockup is very nice. One piece checkered grip is in good shape, there is a M initial at bottom. Bore and cylinder walls rate good for the vintage with common wear. Loadin gate latch functions well. Cylinder pin push spring functions excellent. Overall a nice Tranter example.
